Money Heist: Fans believe Tatiana is key in series five events
La Casa de Papel season five will be the final series of the Netflix hit. The show will be back for a final time in 2021 as the storylines for the crime thriller are wrapped up. Fans have already begun speculating about who will live and who will die at the end of the show. One theory in particular suggests it could be Tokyo (played by Úrsula Coberó) who could be in danger.
The ending of Money Heist is not too far away as the fifth and final season arrives later this year.
The Netflix show will bring the storylines to a close as viewers find out whether the gang survives.
They are currently trapped in the Bank of Spain and need to make it out alive.
However, as previous seasons of the show have taught viewers, there is likely to be more heartbreak on the way.
Posting on Reddit, fans speculated there could be a big twist coming at the end of the show.
Throughout the series, Tokyo has referred to the Professor (Álvaro Morte) as her “guardian angel”.
In one scene posted on Reddit by fan Deafonreddit, Tokyo reminds him of this.
She said in season four: “Professor, you have always been my guardian angel. Now it’s my turn.”
The scene was an emotional moment but some viewers thought it could also be foreshadowing how the show will end.
Some users speculated this could prove Tokyo will sacrifice herself.
User Nastie22 wrote: “That is exactly why I think Tokyo will be the ultimate ‘sacrifice’ for the gang in order to pay for her mistakes.
“She is mainly responsible for the new heist and not the Professor.”

Fan DiamondAsBigAsRitz added: “Makes complete sense. But I don't want her to die!”
While user Shantam1104 added: “I hope Tokyo dies and her narration is like her being in purgatory.”
Viewers will only find out who lives and who dies when the final season is announced.
This has been confirmed for 2021 but no official release date has been given yet for the show.
Ahead of its return, show creator Álex Pina did tease a bit about what viewers can expect.
He told Netflix back in July: "We have spent almost a year thinking about how to destroy the band.
“How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters.
“The result is the fifth season of La Casa de Papel.
“The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season".
Money Heist seasons 1-4 are available on Netflix now.
